The nc wildlife commission had extended the deer season in the western part of nc. In return they extended squirrel season by two weeks, after extending deer season to the 1st of the year. The commission basically took away the ability to squirrel hunt over the Christmas holiday and gave us two Satudarys in February. I am more concern about the houndsmen status with the wildlife commission than any anti hunting group. I think the most pressing matter is to educate our reprentatives in Raliegh and express our concern about reprenstation on the wildlife commission.
